Grand Prize Goes to Nuri Bilge Ceylan

Nuri Bilge Ceylan has won the Grand Jury Prize in the Cannes Film Festival with his film “Once Upon a Time in Anatolia.” Ceylan said that he did not expect to win the award since his film was screened on the last day of the festival. Ceylan won the same prize in 2003 with his film “Distant.” He was awarded with the Best Director Award in 2006 and 2008 with his films “Climates” and “Three Monkeys.”
